Richard Jason Paris

Richard Paris (born November 17, 1977) also known by his truncated stage name, Rich Paris, is an American entertainment executive, television producer and the Chief Operating Officer of Starfish Media Group, the integrated entertainment company founded by Soledad O'Brien.
==Early life==
Paris was born and raised in New York City and is the only child of Martha and Richard Paris. Richard was known locally for shooting and directing "video shorts" and parodies with friends during his teenage years. Several of his first works received awards at local film festivals and were recognized at national competitions. Paris is considered a pioneer in digital media and desktop video, utilizing these emerging platforms beginning in the early 90's, eventually teaching graduate level courses in the medium while still an undergraduate. In 1998, he was named Student of the Year by The National Broadcasting Society (Alpha Epsilon Rho) collegiate honor society.
